Why Invest?


Photos can last a lifetime if well taken care of and preserved. I strive to get you the perfect picture for printing, gifting, framing, screensavers and more. I work all hours of the day and night to make sure each image is exactly what you are looking for. I don't "point and click" and hope for the best. I plan, analyze, edit, re-edit, edit a third time, pick my favorites, then include all edits in the album anyways since your taste might be different. I hope the work that I provide will be with you and your family for generations. I can't wait to work with you, to capture these memories while they last... as a mom of two, I understand, they're gone before you blink. -Lydia C.

Questions you may have . . .

How many pictures will we receive?

I will deliver at least 5 photos to the client, I have delivered up to 70 photos before. It depends on the session, weather and location. I will do the best I can to give you as many high quality photos as possible.

How should we dress for our family session?

If you are unsure, reach out to me and I will work with you to pick a color pallet that would work for you and our session type/location. Pinterest is my best friend for this! Pick colors that flatter you and your family.

When is the best time to have a session with a newborn?

After feeding or while sleeping, newborns are harder to photograph when uncomfortable or tired. I will find poses that work with you and your newborn. Most newborn sessions are done within the first 2-3 weeks of birth. When mama is feeling better and when you are more relaxed with baby. I am a mom of two, but have been around newborns for over 12 years. I am very baby friendly.

What is the turn around time?

I give myself 3 weeks to review, edit and deliver photos. This process is to ensure you get quality photos, as well as an abundance to choose your favorites from.

Animals allowed?

Yes, I am very animal friendly. We will do our best to capture your fur babies in their best behavior! I am willing to bribe with treats if necessary. Please let me know if you intend to bring your fur baby(s) so I can be prepared.

Why a contract?

The contract is to help ensure my business is safe and your privacy is considered. You are welcome to request changes to contract upon reading, but Lydi B Photography reserves the right to deny changes with explanation.

Booking


When reaching out, I will provide a list of locations within my area, if none of them are what you had in mind, I have plenty of other options! If they are outside of Cullman County or Eva, AL, I will charge a small travel fee to cover my way there. If we are entering a location requiring payment, Lydi B Photography will not be held liable to pay your way, but I will provide for my own way in.

Photoshoot


The big day. Please show up ready to go, especially if we have chosen "Golden Hour", or pre-sunset, time is of the essence! So please have outfit, hair, makeup, etc. done before arriving, unless it is a wedding day session and you have asked me to photograph getting ready.

Editing & Uploading


I give myself 3 weeks to sort through hundreds of photos, pick the best ones for editing, edit, sometimes re-edit if I find a better one later, and then uploading to my portfolio. If you choose to ask for some re-edits, I will happily provide those for you to an extent, free of charge. I will provide a download PIN for you, to protect your photos and privacy. Then I will hope to work with you again soon!
